via Switzerland
You can get to Samnaun via the Engadinstrasse (Engadine road): via the Vereina tunnel (during the winter) or the Flüela Pass (during the summer), then from the Vinadi turning to Samnaun.

Please note: If you are travelling from Switzerland to Samnaun, you need a valid travel document (passport, ID), because you have to pass through Swiss customs of customs-free area Samnaun in Martina and possibly can be controlled.

You can get to Samnaun via the Inntalstrasse A12 (Inn Valley Road): via Landeck to Pfunds, from the Kajetansbrücke turning to Spiss, from Spiss to Samnaun. Please note the toll road on the Inn valley motorway.

the quickest way to Samnaun

The Vereina Line is a new railway line between Klosters and Lavin/Unterengadin. Thanks to the Verein railway tunnel, the journey from Zurich to Samnaun is 2 hours shorter with public transport.

If you are travelling by car, using the Autoverlad (motorrail train) via the Vereina tunnel is the quickest and safest way to Samnaun, especially during the winter.

Since 2000, the Landeck tunnel has made it possible to drive around Landeck.
